This song is a rich and soulful blend of country and folk, with a dash of twang. Ride” is a song about remembering an old friend and a simpler time. When I was a young girl, my home life was very stressful. My best friend and I had horses and when things got tough, we would “saddle up”, hit the trail and escape for a while. It will take you through the highs and lows of emotion and then bring you back to an uplifted state. Wendy is a full time artist and has opened for such greats as: Waylon Jennings, The Bellamy Brothers, Lynn Anderson and more. Her song, "The Eyes of the Children" garnered her a #2 spot on the Belter Radio system and #34 in the Indie Radio Alliance Top 40 in August 2018. A self-proclaimed “harmony freak”, Wendy says that music can break through the barriers in life when nothing else can.
