On our Spotify playlist Best Indie Country 2018, you will find the song Message by The Cravens. The band is from West Palm Beach, FL - they play their own Original music, wich is singer/songwriter oriented with kind of a "Rolling Stones" feel.

The Cravens are:
John Storch - Vocals, Acoustic/Electric Guitar
Bill Storch - Vocals, Acoustic/Electric Guitar
Ron DeSaram - Lead Electric Guitar
Bill Meredith - Drums, Back up vocals
Dennis Ambrose - Bass, Back up vocals

The founding members John Storch, Bill Storch and Ron DeSaram have a long and twisted history together, although under the name The Cravens, the band is very new with Dennis Ambrose and Bill Meredith. They are fast becoming the ‘rising stars’ in the Palm Beach County music circuit.

Bill and John Storch met Ron DeSaram in 1980. The Storch brothers were in an ‘alternative’ rock band, Black Box Approach and Ron was in The Demos. The two bands attached on to each other as both bands were among the very few bands in South Florida playing original ‘New Wave’/'Alternative’ music.

In 1982, Ron joined Crossfire Choir while Black Box Approach changed its name to Ata-Tat and moved to the Northeast in 1983 to achieve relative success. Ron joined Ata-Tat from 1985-1989.

Crossfire Choir with Dennis Ambrose moved on to become the ‘house band’ at CBGB’s (from '83-'95) with Ron re-joining Crossfire Choir in 1990-1995 managed by Hilly Kristal. Ata-Tat, though never signed to a major label, had a handful of regional hits in New England and toured the region extensively; including multiple shows with Crossfire Choir at CBGB’s.

The Storch brothers moved back to West Palm Beach in 1990, working extensively in the local arts community, with Ron moving back in 2000. Since 2000, the three future Cravens had worked together on many recordings under various names, including Hillbilly Heart and The Sewing Circle Sues, which was a Crossfire Choir/Ata-Tat reunion band. Fast forward to 2013 Bill Meredith joins us on drums with a friendship of 40 years and Dennis Ambrose joins us on bass and The Cravens are officially formed!

The Cravens are fast building a world wide fan base with the release of their debut CD "On The Line", official music videos, radio and TV interviews and international internet airplay.

Here is the live version of the song.
